Saustark! :o
(That was German, maybe Google translator knows what I mean ;) )

So the next question is: when is a MP3 player available for the Zeddy?
Andy?

I don't know the exactly word in English (otherwise I would have used it), but it is something like
"super super super cool" (as physicist I would say "very close to 0 degrees Kelvin" )

My god, I'm in utter Awe, I knew you were good Yerz but Blow my socks off why don't you, in terms of musical talent i reckon your the dogs...

And Who would have thought with a bit of studio equipment and post processing you could get the Speccy Beeper to sound this Awesome.

'Yerz' the new name of god ?

@Siggi, if you can blast out serial data fast enough you could look at a hardware decoder :?

Somehow i just don't think that the little Zeddy is gonna manage to :-

1) read mp3 stream (becuase any decent mp3 is going to be bigger than 64K)
2) decode it in a reasonable time frame
3) and then drive some DAC on top of that....

so lets say we want our top quaility 320Kbs stream... at 3.25Mhz that gives us roughly 10 clock cycles per bit.... Aint gonna happen
even at say A CRAPPY 32Kbs that 100 cycles per bit, can't really see that happening either but maybe with some hardware help :?
what's that Smell.... smells like fresh flux and solder fumes...

And that's why I want the zeddy to be a musical instrument because post processing is something I do understand

Heh, thx a lot guyz, I do appreciate this.
Well, the full stuff should be pretty soon, including traxx in the same style, made not only on ZX Spectrum but also on
Atari 520ST
Amiga 500
Atari Falcon 030.
I just have to force myself to finish the track for Falcon. :)

Anyway - that's how ZX81 can be used also in a professional way, if required. :)
It would be cool to listen to a professional album made on ZX81. :) :) :) :)
Maybe Moggy would do it? :)
