Paper for Alphacom 32 / TS2040 on AliExpress

Well for me, finding "fax paper" for the Alphacom 32 / TS2040 printer has been a little challenging.

I found regular fax paper that I sawed to size. Not very elegant, as the paper would tare unevenly.

The nearest thing I found was 100 mm paper but not in a roll that fitted. Unfortunatly when the roll is only 100 mm and not 110 mm, it offen tends to move so the printing is askew.

Finally I've found 110 mm rolls on AliExpress. They are for the MT810 printer. As the MT810 printer can take many sizes of paper rolls, and since the A4 width is the most common, please make sure you order the 110 mm roll.

When I tried the paper I was disappointed that the printing did not show. But then I found, that you have to print on the back side. The positive thing about this is: Usually when printing, the paper is rolling together, and it's difficult to get the paper flat. When you print on the back side, it reverses the roll process and almost comes out flattened.

I have also found paper like this on TEMU. However I have not bought or tested it yet. Remember to order the non-sticking version if you try.

Alphacom 32 print-out

As Moggy says, the paper from www.shopstuff.co.uk is good. This print-out has been printed on a roll from this supplier.

If anyone from the UK wants one or two rolls, I can sell them at cost price plus the cost of postage and packaging.
