The big question is what would the order be if we’re measuring impact?

Well, if the ZX80 had not been successful, there wouldn’t have been a ZX81, and hence a ZX Spectrum…

Also, a lot of other models were launched by various manufacturers after the ZX80 & ZX81.

At the same time, there were obviously other manufacturers’ computers in the market (Atom, VIC-20, TRS80 to name just some…), so who knows what might have happened?

But Sinclair certainly helped bring home computing to the masses.

You have a splendid bunch of British computing loveliness there of which you should be quite proud.
