there is none that I am aware of, You must understand all this is new to Me.
All the Composers I have come across seem to write only original material not cover versions of other Peoples work.
the only original track I have found thus far is Atlantis by The Shadows.
I will keep looking.

Correct I forgot about pretty Woman
I have come across things like happy birthday and the odd show tune but as they were only 20-30 second "bits" I didn't class them as completed tunes.
I also found "popcorn" by Gershon Kingsley.

It looks like we have the beginnings of a covers data base

I found, that the search-function scans also the "long title" of the songs (select "tune" to search for songs): http://zxtunes.com/search.php
So I searched for "cover" and found some covered songs. And it's nice, that it's possibible to play the song online (before download).

Well this is novel... a 16K ZX81 loading from tape (well windows media player...)

I replaced the original loader by the OTLA loader so that PT3 modules now can be loaded within seconds, not minuts.

To convert the PT3 modules, use the OTLA (http://code.google.com/p/otla/). After loading the module on OTLA player (change the PT3 file to a .p file), unmark the "Make loader" option and use "6 (7350 bps)" for samples/bit, then hit SBB = > WAV to generate the wav file, which will be recorded at the "otla\output\" folder:

All other instructions given by Andy are applied for this new version and the RAMTOP can be set to address 21248 (POKE 16388,0/POKE 16389,83) on units with 16K.

The attached file contains the player (pt3tape2.wav) and dozens of converted modules to your pleasure.

P.S.: The OTLA does not write the file name with the wav file, so the pt3tape2 not show the file name, only your byte length.

WOW! OTLA how did i miss that one this looks like a cool thing to have, with MP3 players able to play at a fixed rate instead of all that ' wow and flutter ' along with variations of signal quality due to bad oxide layer on the tape, i'm not suprised that someone has finally come up with a faster/reliable audio method of getting bits into the 8 bitters.

Who came up with that idea ? i'd like to shake that person by the hand

The project was presented here by the developer (Decicoder/Francisco) some time ago:

It is a great tool (I would say essential) for everyone who does not have a zxpand and want to load programs on a real zeddy.

PROTOTYPE 4

This board will test out the new IO logic in the GAL. I've re-routed some of the IO lines so I can exert a little more control over the chip. And some IO pads, which might help

I was about to submit a board but I thought that if the chip is capable of IO then it should be allowed... (Are the printer drivers on the menu yet, Paul??!)

V4 is working. Just thought I'd let y'all know

This is the last prototype I'll be making - boards will be ordered next week.

This one supports IO and will have a pin header so you can control/do whatever nefarious things you want with it. Printers spring to mind. Or power stations. At last.
