The hotkeys keys aren't active until the image is completed. You could run the drawing routine in FAST mode by replacing line 9180 with 9180 FAST.

Moire patterns
Requires static RAM at 8k-16K for WRX display file.
If you have RAM between 32k and 40K, ie ZXPand, then a "Small or Large Moire" option will be available.
Tested in emulation only using sz81 and EO.

Impossible Figures:Penrose Triangle
and "Opus"
Programs require static RAM at 8K to 16K for WRX display file.
These programs make extensive use of SHREB's "FILL" command. As I recall this was a pretty hard routine to program.

Polygons
There are four versions of "Polygons" included in the zip file...
Polygons-P.p ..... Pseudo-Hi Res Requires 16K ZX81 with standard ROM, LOAD "POLYGONS-P;X" in ZXPand.
Polygons-W.p ....WRX HiRes Requires 16K ZX81 with static RAM at 8K to 16K for WRX display file.
Polygons-S.tap .. Spectrum Requires Spectrum.
Polygons-Q.dos . QuickBASIC Requires DOSbox.
This is an MSDOS exe program, replace DOS with exe to run in DOSBox or load Polygons-Q.bas in QuickBASIC 4.5 running in DOSBox to avoid the exe file.
Tested in emulation only.

3D Fractal Landscapes
After 35+ years here's an updated version.
3D Fractals for ZX81.
The hardware requirements...
You will need a ZX81 (or TS1500) with "64K" RAM. By this
I mean that you have to have RAM from 16K to 64K. You also
have to have 8K of static RAM, mapped 8-16K, for the
high-res display file and associated data.
I used to have the hardware to run this on a real ZX81, but
alas no longer, fortunately there are ZX81 emulators that
will do the job. The program was tested on the EightOne,
sx81 and NO$ZX emulators.
