Should any one be interested I have the ROM code for this and have written a short basic loader to allow the ZXpand to be used as this module.

Here we are Memotech z80 assembler ROM code and the bit of basic to load it.

Unzip the three files to a suitable folder on the memory card.
Set ramtop to desired level as per the Memotech manual then load and run the file named Z80ASS, this will load the ROM code to correct location then it will reset the zeddy.
The Xpand will now function as the Z80 assembler module.

The manual is enclosed in the zip file.

As I type the one on ebay is at £90 what with postage from Hungary that will take it well over a £100

Must get mine out of the drawer and polish it up, thank God for the Xpand

Some people have more money than sense. You could buy a lot of kit for that and still have a working assembler using a ZXPand.

I guess it shows the difference between hobbyists and collectors.
