Charlie
Having rendered My various memory/rom boards obsolete with You Zxpand thingy it looks like My Zonx will now be up crap creek thanks to Your bleep and hiss board.
I therefore demand You compensate me with gallons of Abbot ale or I will exert extreme unction upon Your person

I've cobbled something together that run on zeddy + zxpand. that can play STC files of which plenty are availbale from spectrum-land
Hi Andy,
I just noticed that you have also made an STC player :D
Great!
This thread is growing so fast, that I missed that essential part

Perhaps you could some day also make a 0 REM version of that player+irq-handler? For most of us that would be much easier to handle.

Yeah thats th intention Siggi, hence why i am working on Soundtracker for ZX81, to allow thw creation of STC files, all without the aid of a PC :D

i initially moved from STC to PT3 since as there are tools on pc for pt3 files but very few for STC.

STC files are smaller and the player is quicker per cycle about 2000 clock cycles, compared to 5000-ish for PT3, on an already strectched ZX81 i think the speed advantage will out-weight the lesser features of STC files.

Hello Everybody,

if anyone would like to buy my first zonX Prototype .....

http://www.ebay.de/itm/zx81-zonx-zon-x- ... 19c9c16498

It is already a full featured device, responds to all known zonx adresses, stereo etc.

The endversion of the card, will be available before x-mas ......

The state of the project can be seen here http://www.eightbits.de

Hi Sascha,
seems like I bought one of Your MrX ZonX, but I have a question - the "PinkPanther" program - is it somewhere on the Net, in *.P file? If so - could You point me the direct URL.
Btw, do You have more such programs?
Thx,
Y
