A small update.

SUCCESS !
After soldering back all the 4116 & LS157 chips and fixing the A6 line, one of my rampacks has come back to life.

I'm verifying all the connections of the second one before unsolder all the chips for testing purpose.

Yes but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing, so I use a fan :!:   :o :D

Mind, I run the brush-less (the fan that is, and a 12 volt one at that) at a smooth 5 volts for a cleaner finish, sorry sound....

 Thanks Rich :D 8-)

 If you do find that the Sinclair ULA is toast (gone to silicone heaven), I have now worked out how some of the other non-Sinclair designs of RAM packs use standard 74LS TTL chips to interface DRAM chips. So if anyone wants this info, just ask.
