PS: Why are you even trying to link ARM code against a x86 library? Why not either download or build the library as ARM code?BarryN wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 3:25 amI got SZ81 to compile and link on a friend's M1 Mac. I hope to work with him to bundle it into a proper Mac application.MikeW wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 3:09 pm Well I spent all last night fighting with numerous errors of the type "attempting to link ARM-64 code against x86-64 library"...
Finally got it to compile and produce an executable, but alas it falls over before even displaying a window. We'll look into it a little more next week.

Re: EO v2.0 - planning stage
Haven't done much recently - I've had this blinding headache for nearly two months now. But the weekly(a'hem) update is here:

Re: EO v2.0 - planning stage
I'm actually quite excited at this update...
It's not perfect yet, but at least it compiles and runs now...

Re: EO v2.0 - planning stage
Will it use more than one core?
I use to code on an old notebook. And keeps one core on it's knees and doesn't use the other..

Re: EO v2.0 - planning stage
EightyOne is cool.
Re: EO v2.0 - planning stage
Looks great. Any more progress on this? I would love to run EO natively on my M1 as I still think the screenshots from EO are the best. I sometimes wish I could save a PNG instead of BMP, but it is easy enough to convert.
Re: EO v2.0 - planning stage
EO is the only emulator I use, and I'm a Mac guy these days also, so looking forward to being off Windows as much as possible
