For example when I first put my Atari STe through a top quality LCD monitor the jail-bars were horrendous to the point of almost being unwatchable (I am aware of the various solutions out there), however when used with my bargain basement LCD TV not only is the picture still sharp and clear but the jail-bars have disappeared completely.
