Pac man on the ZX81

Post by Crayon21 »

was there ever a version for this computer or is it color only?
In Heck, there are two options for perpetual torment:

Eat the Puckerberry and suffer for eternity:
drink nothing but a cocktail of The Last Dab and Mexican Cake blended and served with
habanero slices

There are literally dozens of versions, commercial and mag type-ins. All the early 80's arcade hits had ZX81 versions, Defender, Scramble...etc. There are probably 20 or more versions of Space Invaders. Of course the quality varies greatly. Most of these are available in the ZX81 software collection at Internet Archive, last time I checked.

One game called "PackRabbit". It is one of many versions of the Pac Man games. The PackRabbit came on a cassette, at first. Now, it is converted into a .p file.

Enjoy that game!

Maybe the most ambitious Pacman was posted by Brian Lewis, pseudo-hires and the behavior of the ghosts was supposed to mimic the the original.
