Thanks. How does the PCB overlay part work? Does it have to be a specific material / thickness etc? Or is it just the case that applying pressure through the ‘keyboard’ makes a contact? Applogies for the very basic questions...

The recreated PCB from the other thread looks like this:

As you can see, the contacts are PCB tracks that when pressed on by a thin metal film will connect.

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:

To be honest I've been thinking about a small batch that would include following items:
1. Jupiter ACE replica PCB
2. 96K RAMpack PCB
3. Twister Board PCB
4. Keyboard Overlay
5. RF modulator replacement

But the set would be in range of 30-35GBP + P&P. So, I've not decided yet.

Martin: The Twister is a small board that allows to connect to JACE interfaces designed for ZX81. In the past it was called "Trumpcard". See there: https://k1.spdns.de/Vintage/Sinclair/80 ... novonics)/

Hi McKlaud

Do you have any PCBs left you would like to sell of do you plan for another batch ?
Thank you very much.

Hello McKlaud

Thank you very much for your reply.
All of them are sold out or do you still have some left ?
I would be interested in buying these :

1. Jupiter ACE replica PCB
2. 96K RAMpack PCB
4. Keyboard Overlay
5. RF modulator replacement

At least maybe the keyboard and RF modulator and RAMpack if the main PCB is not available anymore ?
Thank you very much.

I was hoping for a complete kit... I don't have anything. Maybe McKlaud would publish gerbers or source PCB so we could make our own run...

So sorry, I would not publish Gerbers or source files for the main PCB on any public website. I am not going to order another batch of these boards in near future, because I am busy with a few bits and bobs for my Jupiter.

I should publish on there detailed photos how I made the keyboard useful. I hope I will find some spare time over Xmas holiday time.

gammaray: I can spare one board for you, but this will be my testing PCB, which partially assembled. I used this board for the 6.5MHz clock circuit testing. (PM sent)

I was getting ready to try make a blank silicone keyboard for the spectrum cases for the ACE keyboard and other custom computers...

I've been thinking about re-designing the PCB completely and make Jupiter in the ZX Speccy format, using newer components like 6116 SRAM chips instead of 2114, but this is a long shot.
