We should start a LoL price thread

Considering that many zx81 can be bought for less that 20 quid often working this seems a little ( lot ) on the pricey side ...

I think the same.
I always wonder why these guys think it's useful to tell us. If anybody in the world knows how much they are worth then it's us who are organized in this forums. And if they ask and get a price they don't want to realize the answer.
If I allow someone to register for the purpose of advertising then it's only because I hope we can convince them to keep them and use them.
The chance is low but I never give up.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.

I've moved the debate into a new thread called ‪‪Future of the SALES section‬.

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer later in the year.

There is some name brand recognition with Timex over Sinclair I think in the States.

Is the preference also because of the video standard 60Hz / 50Hz?

I wonder what fraction of enthusiasts on this board from the Etats Unis.

I know when I see the ZX81's for sales the worn paint on the moniker devalues it in my mind. Timex put theirs in upper left.

They are $10-20 here in the states. He will never sell for that to a normal user. Especially without the RAM pack.
