Re: LODERUNNER on the ZX81
Looks great in colour. Now if I had a character for the enemies that like player could be half cursor....
Btw you could make a man with leggs together and arms waving in half byte an other halfbyte.
See my “wiwo dido and the case of the broken timemachine” on the ZX Spectrum for it.
Other advantage.... player walks in any direction

Re: LODERUNNER on the ZX81
Kelly, would you like to publish your Chroma .col and .chr file?
If it isn't finished yet, then it would certainly need a few beta testing volunteers (like me for example).

Thanks, Moggy!
It's really been a long time without coming here.
Real life is not easy, but we keep going

It´s here:
And the .col and .chr files to be used with the "Chroma Program Enhacement Creator":

Re: LODERUNNER on the ZX81
See it above.
The great advantage of the "Chroma Program Enhacement Creator" is that each user can customize it according to his own preference without changing the original game. So there is no final version

Believe me, noone can make it better than you...
The hole-closing effect looks so great!
Thank you so much!
Re: LODERUNNER on the ZX81
I think the contrast between the blue text and the bricks was not cool, so I decided to change the color of the bricks to cyan. So the game is more like the original for Apple II:
The cool thing is that everyone can leave the game according to their own personal preferences. Just edit the configuration files with the Chroma Program Enhancement Creator, which can be downloaded here:

Re: LODERUNNER on the ZX81
Hmm, looking at the Loderunner screenshots at Mobygames I see that the original Apple II version had blue bricks, while the PC CGA Version had cyan bricks...
I prefer your blue brick version, but that's of course personal taste.
