At long last I have made some progress on finding acceptable replacement rivets for the ZX80 Case and the 3K memory pack. The rivets are for practical purposes dimensionally indistinguishable from the originals. The 2d CAD drawing shows the difference between them and the original. Original is on the left. The only noticeable difference is that the originals were two-pronged and these are four-pronged, but they are in the correct natural nylon and look great.
I tried them out on my 3D printed copy of the ZX80 memory pack case and the fit is spot-on. The only complaint I have is that the push-pin fit is TIGHT, but with a little effort produces the desired effect. I will try to upload a few photos to illustrate.

Great find
So are these available to buy? If yes, where from?

Re: ZX80 rivets and Ram Pack progress
I bought 500 of them (even though I don't need nearly that many) with the idea of sending most of them to Rich so he can supply folks across the pond much more cheaply than I can with US shipping costs. He and I have just begun a discussion, so stay tuned.

Hey Mhurst52, what about rest of these American ZX80/ZX81/TS1000 users? Can you sell these rivets on this side of the pond to these people?

Re: ZX80 rivets and Ram Pack progress
Hey dessony, I surely can. I only kept 100, so quantities will be somewhat limited, of course. Sorry I am only now seeing your post.
