ZEDDYNET
ZEDDYNET
THe German ZX-Team is making a fourth batch of PCBs of Network Cards for the ZX81. Is anybody interested in buying one?
Be aware that there is the need for RAM in the 8-40k area at least (e.g. ZXPand). The more the better.
There are an email client, text only browser, chat program, print to ascii file on a server and a tnfs client program for the ZX81 available for several years now.
It has been successful tested on ZX81 with ZXPand, ZX2000, ZX96, ZX81NU and ZXMore/ZXCore.
Kind regards
Paul

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.

Re: ZEDDYNET
This is how it looked in version three last year:
In the photo there is a VG64 installed for ZX96 Bus. This is a superset of the ZX81 Bus and a normal Zeddy connector can be used instead.
Next to the wiznet there is a GAL and a Busdriver and 3.3V power supply for the wiznet.
kind regards Paul
The new version will be double sided with printing of the components. In the photo there is a VG64 installed for ZX96 Bus. This is a superset of the ZX81 Bus and a normal Zeddy connector can be used instead.

Re: ZEDDYNET
I'd like to get it for my TS1000 or TS1500. Will the Zeddynet be ready soon?

The PCBs have just been ordered in China and we expect them to arrive around Christmas.
Are you aware that we are talking about a PCB, not a ready built item?
And that RAM in the the area 8-40K is neccessary?
Kind regards
Paul
