Hi, I have a ZX Printer with 1 broken stylus, so i need spare parts on this one.
It seems these were more then just a bended piece of steel.

Re: ZX PRINTER STYLUS
Hiya
Nice pix!
I'd be very surprised if there was anything at all high-tech in the printer! My guess would be that the carbon is a residue from the burny-sparky(tm) mechanism...
Good luck with the fix

Yes, Nice pictures !
The ZxPrinter Stylus is a frailty spare.
All high voltage sparks reduce and destroy the stylus.
You can repare it using a little piece of iron spring ...
But, it's a fastidious work.
You can also take a little piece of a bike break cable and stend you time to twist it and adjust it to repace your old burnd stylus.
Someone can do that and send you this new stylus.
You can also bay a new ZxPrinter with an electronic or mechanic fealure, but is this case ... the stylus is already reduced and won't work properly.
It's a generic fealure on this hardware and was covered by the sinclair warranty.
Most of ZxPrinter's user was exposed and, i guess someone had to make some spare part for his owne printer.

Does anyone still have these pictures?
People are always asking about replacing the belts - there is a guide on:

Also, the ZX Printer service manual appears at:
