I'm looking for either a zx81 or ts1000 with a composite output mod or someone to correct the modification on mine. I'm not great with small soldering and not ashamed to admit Im in over my head. Located in Peoria, IL.

@Lardo Boffin sells a lot on eBay after adding a composite mod.

I do sell a few!

I will be listing one this weekend if I get chance to finish it.

Unfortunately they are not cheap as I have to buy a zeddy and then fit over £40 worth of parts:

ZX8-CCB (comp mod) around £10
ZX-KDLX (very good keyboard) around £12
WESPI (wifi fast loader) £6
Voltage regulator (runs cooler) £5
RAM (for internal 16K mod) about £6
Capacitors £1
SCART cable £4
Plus I pay postage on all these.

Then there will be international shipping.

Excellent. I'll likely snap it up as soon as I see it.

Stewart Newfeld sells a composite mod on eBay, too, here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/175399982542

He’s in Brooklyn.

You might want to also check out my website (timexsinclair.com) and look at the Community page under About for resources on our side of the pond.

Best,
David

Hello sells ZX8-CCBs. Good choice!

It will probably be cheaper to get your existing zeddy done over there than buy mine because of shipping and duties. Certainly worth checking out.
