In fact, the pcb take place "inside" the keyboard box and replace the "original existing" one, but difficult to find apparently... but i search ...
I note the fact that it's strongly recommanded to save each 2 minutes on 2 files alternatively, thanks for that

I do have a Memotech full-travel keyboard I'd be willing to sell, if you (or anybody else) want to make an offer?

Re: Wanted : DKTronic's keyboard for ZX81
As well as the two types talked about in the thread so far, there are at least two other types of replacement full travel keyboards for the ZX81.
I am away from home and typing this on a smartphone, so cannot post an image file from a magazine that reviewed these keyboards.
All of them come up on eBay.co.uk every so often, but you would have to be good at waiting as it can be three to six, or more months between people listing them.
The Memotech type looks to be the most common one compared to the others, but even these are only listed occasionally.

I have found the magazine review, click on this link http://yourcomputeronline.wordpress.com ... -keyboard/
The d’Ktronics keyboard featured is a different version to the one I have.
You may find this link interesting as well. This shows a custom build case with a Maplin keyboard http://www.g3ngd.talktalk.net/zx81.html
Maplin keyboards were available without a case, or with a vacuum plastic case (very cheap, the plastic is thin and flexes).
This site has a lot of useful information plus pictures: http://k1.dyndns.org/Vintage/Sinclair/8 ... Keyboards/

I have the Kayde keyboard pictured, mines in a flimsy plastic black case though, must have been the original because the logo is embossed in it- and he is right about the stickers falling off - I lost most of them while using it1024MAK wrote:I have found the magazine review, click on this link http://yourcomputeronline.wordpress.com ... -keyboard/
