ZXpand for sale here..

Not a Spand + (either issue one or three, none AY version which requires add on AY board), as it's in a Memotech case with 2011 manual.
I have no connection to seller.
EDIT.
Just realised it is the spand only for sale and in my opinion it's a bit pricey for just the spand, see what you think.
Spand issue 1/3 for sale.
Re: Spand issue 1/3 for sale.
Hi,
Is there any Gerber files to make more ZXPand+
I have a few ZX81s that could do with one...

It’s not an open source project at the moment.
The creator has allowed a variation (which is not 100% hardware compatible) to be produced for the Minstrel clone, but I’m not aware of any others.
However, the ROM and PIC firmware files are available, see the Announcements section.

Re: Spand issue 1/3 for sale.
One guy in Brazil has ripped the design off much to Charlie's dismay and there is one other authorised version which, like the Minstrel clone is a complete ZX81 and spand combined all on the one motherboard and not a stand-alone unit, which he gave his blessing to apart from the one Mark mentions, but I'm not sure if it came to anything other than that persons own use.
Having had a chat with Charlie/Sir Morris over the weekend what I took from the conversation is that the spand may be at the end of its life production wise, component cost being just one factor amongst many others, so online sales of second hand units may be the only option rare as they are.

Re: Spand issue 1/3 for sale.
Hi,
I would only make more with full agreement, maybe under licence if required.
Looks like the ZX81 stays in storage till I can get a good SD Card solution...
