Hi,
My new ambitious project is base on a mother card server to drive 8 cards using various input.(8x8= 64 Inputs max.)
This project is designed to control a good number of systems such as electric trains, robots, automated systems or nuclear power plants.
Daughter cards will be offered to adapt your configuration of the 8 available cards to our needs.
Two motherboards will be available for this project, an input card and a card dedicated to outputs.
Let's start with the inputs...

Note:
This is a stand alone powered card, to avoid to drain the 5v from the computer supply.
Next step, the ouput driver card :

This card grab data each time you call them. (synchronized flow)

the upper connector is connect on the first card, the others link can be done on the side connectors.

This card able to "catch & forget" all signals.
Let's take for example a railway circuit and REED sensors to capture the passage of a train on a section. It will not be useful to scan the inputs all the time. The data will be stored, read and erased automatically or manually.
It also able to count a signal pulse.

Hi,
The key to link cards...
Note:
Pay attention to the orientation of the arrow which is pointing upwards (this joint is not reversible because of the double ground pins which is at the bottom of the connector)
Kicad Project:
Note:
This socket suite to this INPUT project, but prefer the release 1.1 usable in both projects (one pin added!)

You can add a link to the right pins to make it works on the OUTPUT project.

Next card... (WIP)
Single Analog input (8bits) 0-5v. DC + 10 LED bargraph.
A monitoring card will be provided later as an optional card, without having to select it to display the selected/memorized Card ID, 8bit LED values and hexadecimal values on the input (Output) port.
[EDIT] First release here...

Hello Xavier,
I would like to draw all the cards concerning the MaxIO project but, among the GERBERS files provided, I cannot find the one allowing to make the rear report of the ZX connector.
Could you make it available please.
Thanks in advance.
Have a nice day everyone
Jean-François
PS: you may recognize me, we have discussed a lot on the French forum concerning, among other things, a Bus Buffer for ZX81.

Good evening Xavier, indeed I had seen it but the zip file does not contain the GERBER files and I have never used KIKAD, in fact I use the PROTEUS suite.
Could you send me the GERBERS files please.
Thanks in advance.
Good evening
Jean-François
