1) Is it mono or stereo?
2)Will it drive speaker directly? ohms?
3)Can I utilize the A/V input of my tv/monitor (ntsc) for sound?

It's a stereo socket, so please use a stereo plug.
No it cannot drive a speaker directly, you need to use an audio amplifier or feed into another suitable device.
Yes, if a TV or monitor has an audio line level input, this should work.
