First zeddy done

Post by msknight »

Well, I don't quite believe this, but I somehow did it.

When I do a machine the first time, I expect to wreck it as I learn what the heck I'm doing. Somehow, this thing survived. The wespi is under the keyboard, and I made a pigs ear of the side panel as I changed the ear jack three times before I worked out how to wire it to disable the wespi when I plugged something in. The keyboard needed revisiting several times and I had to jerry rig a front attachment because I had to destroy the front two case closure bolts. But... well... I'm stunned. Will now work on number 2, now that I have a better idea what I'm doing.

That's a brilliant job. And it looks gorgeous with the expensive keycaps.

Yes indeed--congratulations! (I would have killed for that handsome real keyboard back in the day,...)
