With all this talk of the ZXPand my ZX1541 is feeling a little left out. So for those who are interested I just made a video showing the ZX1541 loading Chopperdrop 3000.

P.S. I have been talking to the original designer and he is working on updating the firmware to 1.4 with some of my suggestions.

Humm wonder if that could be made to work with sd2iec for a completely solid state version, you could of course then probably do away with the iec bus interface circuits on both sides and connect directly to the AVR on the sd2iec.
Cheers.
Phill.

In the YouTube description I explain that it is connected to a μiec card which is a SD2IEC device.
So the answer to your question is...YES

Yes, I was able to contact Luis. He is presently working on updating the firmware to 1.4.
He already sent a 1.4 beta that I am testing. There are a few bugs that need fixing.
Thanks
Phil

Which kind of monitor connection do you use?
It is composite or S-VIDEO? Is that a LCD monitor?
thanks.
