Composite to VGA

Post by jsweinrich »

what are you folks using to convert a ZXvid output to VGA? I bought two converters and neither work well. The first one works OK but glitches randomly. The second one I bought shows two images like a blur.

Thanks,
John

If you want perfect VGA, you can create this simple circuit, and upload the firmware to a ESP32. Then you have VGA output.

It even includes a webserver to upload files, to fast load into the ZX81.

Will this ESP32 work?
It appears that the ESP in the picture is obsolete...
