ZX81 install new keyboard

Hi at all,

i buyed a new keyboard for my ZX81, the old one sadly the ribbon cable are overheated, and
is brittle and interrupt it the traces. It's very difficult to install a new one?
Need some particular attention to centre the keyboard, or is perfect matched like the original?

The new keyboard membrane should fit exactly. However, you only get one go because the glue is very, very sticky.

Before removing the backing, and after removing the old keyboard membrane and cleaning off all the old glue, I suggest you do a test fit.
