Zx81 (Ts1000) case technical drawings

Does anyone know of technical drawings (draft dimensions, angle, etc.) for the zx81/Ts1000 case?

I'd like to design and 3d print a sort of docking station for it (non destructive way to make a zx81 laptop).
I can take the measurements myself. I know from experience that it's hard to get the angles correct.
And it will most likely take several iterations on my own.
If that part is already done and I just need to do the 3d modeling it would be much appreciated.

As an aside, while looking for this I ran across an interview with the industrial designer of the zx80, zx81, spectrum, and z88

Look like someone already made a 3D model you can download:

I had to draw a ZxPrinter to explain its printing process…

(it's an approximative drawing… wrong height.)

WRL/STL format.

Thank you!
Not sure how I missed that

Hmm.. That model is *close* but not quite accurate.
The angles the bottom of the case are different than the actual.

This picture doesn't show it well but there is the extra fillet bellow the jacks that is missing which brings the case in a bit.
However, it's a great starting point!

Because I needed something a bit more accurate than the model originally linked to I ended up making my own from scratch in Fusion 360.

Here it is if anyone else needs it.

Thanks for sharing this.
How do you plan to attach the docking station?
Using the case screws?

I'm currently hoping I can get a close enough fit to the contours of the zx81 that it will use pressure and some minimal wrapping around the edges to lock in place.
That's the goal anyway.

So far I've gone through test prints that were too small, too thin (and bendy), and now a bit loose. So I need to keep adjusting the model.

Its an iterative process - which is why I really wanted the technical drafts :-)
