zx80 confusion when using Eightyone

Post by Crayon21 »

Why did sinclair not add vents to the zx80. also, where are the other functions (Def FN etc) located on the system. I'm using Eightyone for emulation purposes (Never used an 80 or 81, would love to but i live in the U.S) and am stumped.Eightyone shows other functions that i can't seem to use. chr$, Peek, Code, Usr,ABS,tl$ and others are not available though they are used in type ins. any ideas? :o
In Heck, there are two options for perpetual torment:

Eat the Puckerberry and suffer for eternity:
drink nothing but a cocktail of The Last Dab and Mexican Cake blended and served with
habanero slices

Hi,

Juste try to type "P","E","E","K","(","0",")"
"R","N","D","(","5",")"
"A","B","S","(","A",")"

All functions are not displayed on the keyboard.

Well, there was not enough space in the 4k ROM. You need to type them in instead of the usual single key entry system.
Kind regards Paul
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.
