ZX81 clone or what?

Post by GCHarder »

While searching around on the net I found these at this site...

https://auction.catawiki.com/kavels/176 ... clair-zx81

But there is no info on what they are.

They look like some kind of ZX81 clone with an old PC game port interface.

Regards;

I'm wondering if they are just keyboards.... Perhaps used for something other than zx81... The D connector has enough pins for it just to be the keyboard matrix. An interesting find anyway.

Yes, my thinking is along the same lines as Andy's comments.

A ZX81 membrane makes a very convenient keyboard that can be used for other applications.

Looking forward to summer later in the year.
