Someone has raised the issue of loading downloaded software onto the ZX80 without using the ZXpand (and replacing the ZX80 ROM)...
I know there is the ZX-IDE software which can help with this (I think the .o and .p files have to converted to a .wav file and then played through a sound card).
However, it got me thinking....
Could the firmware for the TZX Duino be updated to natively load the .o or .p files (or possibly just the .wav file) ? The project page for the TZX Duino appears at http://arduitapemarkii.blogspot.com/%C2%A0

Having spoken with Duncan Edwards (who is behind the project), he has confirmed that both .p and .o files have been supported since v1.3 of the firmware
