Hi there.

I've made the mod and described it on my blog (sorry Czech language only):

But as I see it's almost the same mod as described Sami Vehmaa, which also applies to Spectrum. The mod works for modern LCD TVs with composite video input. The TV out works too. I've tried it on a CRT 100Hz TV and the picture is almost the same like on LCD. It's clear, but you can see some ULA and Z80 interferencing on the screen. Anyway, it's much better picture than trough antenne modulated output. You need only one resistor and one transistor (and some wires plus soldering iron :). The transistor can be whatever, but must be NPN type. The resistor should be 100 Ohms. I took both parts from a died PC ATX power supply :)
