ZX-WESPI - add a cheap wifi-enabled fileserver to your Zeddy!
Re: ZX-WESPI - add a cheap wifi-enabled fileserver to your Zeddy!
Thought I'd put a little diagram together of what I've done in case it helps to understand my waffling...

So you have changed the famale jack on the board to a 3 signal connector?
Re: ZX-WESPI - add a cheap wifi-enabled fileserver to your Zeddy!
No, the zeddy is in a new case, with the ZX-wespi and RGbtoHDMI in there as well, so I changed the external jack for stereo.

If I was to try the video version of the wespi, what TFT-LDC panel would people recommend? I would like a reasonable size that I can use and play on, but I'm completely new to this. Also, what happens about refresh rate of these things?
Grateful for thoughts and advice.

So I conclude that the ILI9341 is the largest TFT-LCD unit that it can drive, without going over to VGA then?

This is the display driver device name.
There are several display with various sizes available.
Make sure it's 320x240.
I have a 3.2 inch which is very readable and a joy to work with. I saw 3.5 inch, but not at a reasonable price.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.

Ah! Thanks for that. I need to go on a journey of learning electronics properly... which I plan to start this year.
I was hoping that there would be something like 7" or 8" and potentially be the width of the zeddy itself, but that's probably unworkable, or cost a fortune
