I hope it's not annoying too much, but could I ask for a version of the Commander without the initial screen?
As it will be since now my main GUI stuff (and I use it all the time, even only to travel through catalogues), the initial screen takes significant amount of time for any quick operations with the Commander.
I'm sorry for trouble.

Does anyone fancy putting together a video of the ZXpand-Commander, so we can publicise it?

@Yerz - The title screen 'sinks'/is displayed during the time taken to load the initial directory. Depending on the amount of data loaded you may not see a speed increase. Check your email.

@Rich - I'll see about doing that video some time tomorrow.

Aaah, so it's simply require to wait this moment? OK then, so let the "help" screen be.
I thought it's kinda... ornamental stuff, hahaha. ;)
No problem.

How do I get EightyOne X3 to recognise the new ZXpand firmware V2.2? I created a card.bin containing the firmware file only, but nothing happens when I restart EO...

Nice try, Bernd ;)

The ZXpand 'firmware' in EO's case is a DLL. I need to re-package EO - I'd forgotten that I needed to do this

See new EO version X3.7

Stupid me - how could I assume that such a low level hardware bound function would be emulated
Thanks a bunch for the amazingly quick update!

Startin' programs with SHIFT+X (load and disable ZXpand) is a great thing that I was missing before when I had to leave Browser to load programs from the prompt-line (adding ";X").
Rulez.
