Well, I'm in favour of development of a good file manager on a Zeddy. I too have too many fingers in too many pies.
But having to boot up a PC just to carry out "simple" file management tasks is a pain in the arse

Now if your more urgent work is on a time machine, then hurry up with this project, as one thing I do not have is enough time

So please keep up the good work :D

There are four lights!
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer later in the year.

I think you should continue, be it at your own pace, certainly there are many more pressing things in life that come before Zeddy... Like Mark says it can be a pain sometimes when you have to go find a PC with a SD slot, which in this house often means a trip to another room.

Keep at it mate. it's specialised enough that you probably won't see a horde of interested users coming at you en masse, but over time people will appreciate being able to pick up this software.

So 5 persons now.
But for such a question it isn't enough to ask on RWAP Forum, it's required to ask also on the German Forum. That I've just made.
Supposedly more persons would be interested than 5 of us.

I'm interested, too. I think this is the kind of work we need with our ZXPands...

Well, If there's another job mor eimportant to do, we´ll wait for this...

We have been waiting over 30 years to have something like ZXPand... We can wait some other time for this program...

Regards.

Hmm, I wrote similar programs (USB Filemanager and Network Filemanager) to be used by only 1 person:
me ;)

Meanwhile some other persons of the German team also use them ...

I would imagine that anyone with a ZXpand would want this. Put me down as one!

BUILD 3

Fixed a couple of bugs (Thanks Andy ;¬)
Added intro & help screen
COPY, MOVE and DELETE are all working nicely now
Tidied up the code significantly

Only files under 16k can be copied as they have to be loaded into memory. This sucks but it shouldn't prove fatal.

todo:
mugtraps
help screen
error reports
action confirmation
move
rename
make directory
decide on key definitions
joystick support
