Runs perfect on my real hardware. (Xpand+ with some funny firmware Charlie give me for the MIDI player) :D

Excellent work. :geek:

Words fail me . . . the ZX81 continues (with a lot of hard work by a lot of people) to amaze even after all of these years!
Nice work. ;)

I'd love to see the version you are working on for the original ZXPAND (which i have). I yet have to order the UDG-4-ZXPAND module, and this could be another good reason to do so. Many thanks! Great job!

The updated post has new players that work on both ZXpand and ZXpand+.

I don't like the demon video, but can you share the tools to create other videos our selves?

mrtinb: I'll start with encoding Big Buck Bunny, and share that.
Then I'll have to clean up the code, in a major way. It works but is embarrassingly slow and ugly. 3 minutes of video takes around 8 hours on my i7 computer, though it utilises only one thread.
So in short: I will share the code for both the encoder and player in due time.

Slow or otherwise, I wouldn't even know where to start. Absolutely fabulous work.

+1 from me, so smooth running and if some kind of video creation software ever comes to light I can envisage some real creative offerings from the forum.

Once again top marks. :ugeek:
