Well, this looks really excellent, my friend.

What makes calculations/conversions here? PC or ZX81?
The program was in P, I saw?

PC.
You modify the image with "PaintShop Pro" (I use version 6), then you use Xtender (ZX81 DOS emulator) to recreate the file .P.
Everything is written in the link (see below), in my previous message.

My proposal: a pre-processed metafile which is drawn by a zx81 program written with z88dk, on the zx81 it should already work with WRX, ARX, G007 and perhaps Memotech HRG add-ons but libraries exist for many other targets, so you can get an MSX or Spectrum version for free.

Is there really no slideshow program? Weird. It's as if the ZX81 was never meant to display hires, or read files from a filing system... ;)

Does anyone use Z88DK on their Mac? I can't find any practical help in getting set up for this. Stefano - Is there a how-to anywhere please?

I never had a recent MAC under my hands (the latest one I used was a 9600, MACOS 8.1, which today still wouldn't work with z88dk), so I'm not the right one to ask.
But the binaries and the libraries are ready-made by the nightly batches, so it should be only a matter to set the environment variables as usual.
In any case I'm sure you can find help on the forum.

Uh.. well, an article stub would be appreciated, if you beautify it enough I have no objections to paste it directly in the Wiki and give you credits :)
