Tears of joy.
I second this!
YEAH!

Man, that is great to see! And I thought I had your only stylus. Please send a close-up of how you attached them to the posts.
Without your generous help it couldn't have happened!

I looked in my junk box and I found the remains of my second printer belt. It was just too tempting...
As I said, I just melt the top of the spigot to hold the stylus in place. Not a very nice solution but good enough for à try run.

The 0.01" music wire has arrived, and have done the measurements of the stylus. Will hopefully get a couple of prototypes done this evening.

After several failures at coming up with a method of reproducing the stylus I have finally arrived at a reliable method.
Here is a photo of a "phase one" prior to trimming the legs and bending the ends. I'm sure that part will be fun as well.

Making excellent progress on reproducing the printer belt stylus. The one on the left circled in red is the original.

I can't see much difference.
Great job. Love to see how they print. Kind regards Paul

Thanks, Paul. Making them is about as tedious as picking fly poop out of black pepper
, but now have a process that is fairly repeatable. They may require a tiny bit of tweaking but not much.
