Thanks for the working example. I had been going through the Dr. Logan's ROM book for a number days trying to figure this out. So glad to get help getting it working. Others, thanks for chiming in. Better to get comments that are not perfect than get no comments at all.

Here's a little spreadsheet I created to help me with ZX81 FP conversions.
Note: Iterative calculations for formulas must be enabled.
