Another way to keep memory, is to init all variables in the Vars (variables memory room).

At the prompt: LET V$="***", LET B=1, LET C=B …
And run the basic program using a GOTO 1.

VAL function seem to get memory...

I just wanted to say I use to hate math until I got my ZX-81 as a young boy. I spent so many hours running algebra equations that I learned to love math due to that little black box.
