I'm Baron Ashler, author of A.R.C.O.S. Thanks Yerzmyey for posting the game
I'd like to comment some differences between the ZX81 and the Speccy and MSX versions of the game. A.R.C.O.S. for Spectrum and MSX has 15 stages where you have to kill 12 aliens to reach the next stage. You’ve got 5 lives and 10 blasts
A.R.C.O.S. for ZX81 has got a few changes to fit on only 4kb! (first idea was to make A.R.C.O.S. for ZX81 in only 1kb, but was impossible to me... ) You begin the game with 3 lifes and 3 blasts, which you can recover them when you clear a stage. You have to kill 10 aliens to reach the next stage. The number of stages is unlimited and they are built in a random way. In addtion, to complicate the stuff, the ball’s bounce is totally random... just to make game more interesting
