It has been quiet for some time, but this sunday I have a meeting to check all software on a real ZX81 and hopefully we can make all games final for production!

Paul and Dr Beep here. We managed to check all games and found out what was wrong.

In essence: we needed to alter some timing and added some Newlines.

The screens are a bit altered, but all readable and playable.

Also we found some other games with a small flaw (text italic, not straight) but that is no issue. Now all games can go to CRONOSOFT!
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.

Great stuff!!

I'll be there with my credit card :)

And it really does prove - don't trust the (current) emulators!!

"Spy vs Spy" is really full of code. There was a potential 'hang up' in the game.

When the black spy breaks through and the white spies have less moves than the number of moves the black spy needs to reach the bottom, the game would 'hang' by asking a valid move where there are none.

Although the code was full I have found some changes to make some room to add an extra check when the black spy goes past by the last white spy. When he does, he had won and the "I WIN" message will appear before the spy reaches the bottom.

In theory I still can think of a situation where this could go wrong, but the changes on it are really slim.
