Microvaders by Pat Norris

Does this exist anywhere? It was a type-in by Pat Norris in the July 1982 issue of Computer & Video Games and I'm having a lot of trouble tracking it down.

It's not in any of the usual collections, and while The Type Fantastic has a download here, it's a .BAS file which is no use to either man or beast. There's also an Internet Archive version (in Dutch) but I can't get it to load - I type LOAD "", hit ScrollLock and press F2 but nothing happens.

I tried importing the BAS file to Eighty-One by changing the suffix to B82, which seems to load it, but when you try to run the game it crashes on line 845 when you select the speed.

The Dutch file loads and works perfectly in both EightyOne and SZ-81 but the game play is almost impossible due to the amount of shrapnel being thrown at you.
So just a case of translating the listing to English and away you go.

The BAS file loads to Eighty one easily without renaming so not sure why you had a problem but it seems bug ridden ( as a lot of the files in type fantastic are ) and kept throwing up error codes.

Yeah, it's hopeless, but I eventually managed to get hold of the Dutch version so will just rewrite it.

The English version is bugged line REM 22 in the ASM: not functional. (OCR not debugged O=zero lines 850-857)
