Again a game that walks around, just like OLG. Well done.

Amidoh!

Inspired by the arcade classic Amidar, this is a fast-paced arcade game. Free to download, but voluntary contributions gratefully accepted.

The game can be found here: https://jonathan-cauldwell.itch.io/amidoh

A short video of the game under development can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wv5X7UDx43c

Really nice and smooth and fun, but the white border in non-Chroma mode looks very strange when you've painted the side passages.

(It also might be better to use down rather than up to enter your name, because with 2 for up it invariably insta-starts a new game with 2, which gives you the cursor keys for control rather than the normal ones.)

I woke up with an idea for the final visual bug but it will take some time.

GAME OF LIFE
------------

Game of life is a simulation how life would live following certain rules.
You can find the rules on WIKIPEDIA.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conway%27s_Game_of_Life

This simulation can run a full screen simulation on a 1K ZX81
The program starts with a simulation

When the simulation runs you can stop it by keeping a key pressed until the cursor appears.

The cursor is controlled by the inports,
but the following keys are the easiest to use:

Q = up
A = down
5 = left
6 = right
Z = swap field status
space = start simulation

You can now change the screen.

Have fun,

Johan "Dr Beep" Koelman
