Some of the games you find on sites like Hebdogiciel are real lost gems in amongst a lot of dross, and this is one of the former. It's a super-hard 10-level puzzle platformer about robbing a mansion, a bit like one of the really hard Lode Runner levels but without any digging or enemies chasing you, other than the one who keeps shooting at you from the right of the screen.


I'm always sure I'm missing something important if I play them in French or Spanish or Portuguese, so here's this one in the King's English.

Cheers, zip now updated. There's something very weird about this game that I just noticed. You are the £ character, and in this pic you're standing at the top of a ladder.


But bizarrely, you can't go down it. You can climb UP to that point, but you can't go back down from there. You can't go back down from the very top of ANY ladder. I can't work out whether that's deliberate or a bug.

This is deliberated. As explained in the rules : you have to be ON a ladder in order to use it. If you're standing above or below, you can't use it.

Ooh! That makes for very evil one way route rule! Nice.

I figured, but it's a bit rubbish not to be able to go back down the exact same ladder you just went up. Did it catch fire or something?
