YAHTK

Post by dr beep »

Got a reminder that I said I would do Yahtzee in 1K.

So I am working on it.

So far working:

full throwloop with selection and 2 player option.

TODO:
Analyse score and set.

Nice to have:
Extra randomnumbers on the die before final number is shown

500 bytes left.

Absolutely stunning Johan, I never thought I'd see this in 1k!

Only thing missing is a way to de-select any fixed dice after the first roll as per real yahtzee. when you make a second or third roll you should be able to unfix any previously fixed dice or if you accidentality fix a dice by mistake (Page 2 of PDF.). If this not possible in 1k then I understand.
Also does this version give a bonus for successive yahtzees?

Just played a few games and all works as it should, apart from that mentioned above, and even managed a Yathzee after five attempts!

I used official rules where selected die were not swapped. I can easily add swapping, it will.make the code shorter

Yes it does and also Yahtzeejokers where you get full straight when second yahtzee and numbers are both taken. see manual

The die swapping are in the original Milton Bradley (now Hasbro) who have owned the rights since the 70's rules as per the PDF.

However excellent version I have to say and will have much fun with this, thanks again Johan. :D
