Oh, I can't claim credit for actually drawing anything :D

I just find bits of suitable art lying around on the internet and mess around with them a bit to work as tape boxes...

Then nice work and taste! :)

Regarding images you should just pay attention to the license! (and act consequently, e.g. citing author, not proposing for commercial, etc)

If it will continue like this maybe the new version will wait a bit more, but I've still ready the "old" but fully working one!
And where is the old one?

I've squashed a number of bugs, added a few new features and a nice splash screen. Here's what I hope will be the final version of ZX81 Phoenix. I changed the splash screen O in Phoenix to an Omega, so the title becomes Omega Phoenix. That way I'm hopefully not stepping on any copyright laws by using the same name.

Anyway, here's the file. Unlike most of my projects I actually finished this with about 3k of memory left, so I could go a bit overboard with the splash screen. I hope you like it. It took me all day to get it right.

This will give colour if used with a Chroma interface and sound if you have a Zonx

Now even more excellent. And thanks for the border-colour option :)

Here's another version on Phoenix with a few final tweaks.

The title animation now repeats after a while in case you missed it. You can return to it from the menu screen if you want too.

The option to change border colour now reads border, not borer. A bit of a typo there.

I've got a publisher who might be interested in putting out a cassette release of this. He might want to use your cover art. Are you OK with that and is the artwork original? It looks a lot like the cover of the arcade game's service manual so if you've copied and pasted it we might have to do our own version.
