New Game PipePanic Released

Post by Thunor »

Hi

I've written a pipe connecting game for the ZX81 called PipePanic.

The game is 8K and totals 12K once running.

Wait 16 seconds on the main screen and it'll play a demo game.

Download here -> http://sz81.sourceforge.net/index.html# ... plications

Thanks Shaun :)

If you manage to do that that would be great. I've been following your articles in the magazine.

I'm amazed by the sheer quality of code emerging here :)

Top stuff!

Hi Thunor,

Again, can I add this to my ZX81 software page - http://www.rwapsoftware.co.uk/zx81/zx81_software.html

Yeah sure :)

You might want to extract the tarball and zip it to avoid confusion.

I've just updated pipepanic.txt so download the package again if you've already got it.

Cheers,

Has anyone come up with a cassette inlay for this game yet? I'm only asking as I'm sourcing some software for a display, and making it look like an original ZX81 game would be great.

By the way, my art skillz are rubbish, or I'd give it a go.

Regards,

Shaun.

I'm trying to create a themed template that I can resuse for future games and I have this for now. I'll update this post as I work on the image but if you need something right now then this should suffice :)

[EDIT] That should be it now. AngliaSoft and the address are fictional for effect ;)

[EDIT2] Added colour bars front top and bottom.
