How exactly the entire matter ended?
is there already an official version of the game, with music and so on?

Greetings,
Yerz
Sorry for the delay... it's been awfully busy at work. The last version attached to the initial post has music. It runs fine on a ZX81, but the screen looks strange on EightyOne. Andy has given me a new version of the STC player code that solves this problem, but I still need to integrate it. And I would like to make the option to have the music playing during the game. Apart from that, it's finished. Now to find some time...

@Shaun: glad you like it, thanks!

Ha! I finally managed to finish this game. The final version is attached to the initial post in this thread:

Many thanks to Yerzmyey and Andy for letting me use their music and the STC player + interrupt handler. It's incredibly satisfying to see the little ball bouncing to the beat of YERZMIX6. Enjoy!

I'm glad I could help. :)
The game is really fast and playable, will be testing it more soon. :)
