Got the first screen displayed.
The circuit will be quite square, but the car will be hires in 4 directions ( / \ ! _ )
Also more difficult circuits will not cost more than a few bytes (and some linedata)

Idea is to make multiple circuits in multiple loads for 1K

To show it is hires I altered the sidelines in smaller tracks.
(car not shown yet)

Size so far : 276 bytes without re-use of memory

This screen is just 3x22 bytes data and 10 bytes repeating data.

I can simply add more specific lines to make different tracks.

Whole cardata will be 8x22=176 bytes + 8bytes pointers

So in this version the entire screen will be 252 bytes. More complicated screens will add 24 bytes for each change in line display.

Hello Jim,

perhaps you didn't get but since half november my life has changed a lot.

On december 2nd, I have been chosen as leader for the local elections for the dutch Socialist Party.
I have announced this on WoS and that this will take so much time that besides incidental visits to WoS and here I won't do anything
for the ZX Spectrum or the ZX81 anymore.

Although I still have many ideas for games in hires in 1K I will be leaving the active scene.

See WoS:

Greetings
Dr Beep.

That is really a shame to lose you to politics - although all the best in your new role.

You will of course be welcome back at any time :)

Please drop by to let us know about the 1K games for cancer.....

I would recommend listing these on sellmyretro.com - I would waive any fees for you.

Also add some info to the Sales thread on here :)
