Emulator with video capture?

I was wondering if there is an '81 emulator (PC or MAC) which also allows you to capture the video frames to an AVI, animated GIF, or similar?
I usually use NO$ZX8 nowadays over EightyOne, due to its superior monitor (EO's just crashes for me), but neither appears from my quick examining to support video capture.
Failing that, does anybody know of any good (and free) video capture software I could use instead?
